It is with this same sentiment that the 7th Annual Sports Day of RIMS international School and Junior College was conducted at AIPT grounds, Puneon 1st, second and tertiary of celestial latitude 2011. The chief customer for the event was Ms Krushna Patil, the 2nd youngest Indian to climb Mount Everest at the age of 19 in 2009. On 1st and 2ndDecember 11 the heats for the various handle and flying field events were conducted for patriarchal, vicarious and Senior sections. On 3rd December 2011,the Sports ache was inaugurated by the Chief guest- Ms Krushna Patil and the guest of honour- Lt Col P Yaldhow, Deputy Comdt, AIPT.The Director, Mr Museeb Rais, the maven, Mrs Shakuntala Jaisinhganiwere present to encourage the sectionalizationicipants. The Principals of RIMS Mumbai and RIMS Undri, Dr Kishore Pillai and Mrs Amruta Prabhu singly graced the occasion with their presence. The Principal lighted the School burn and reach it over to the Sports captain. The torch ru n was carried forward by the domicile captains.After the flag hoisting,the students took part in the march by. The captains of the four houses on with their house contingents marched past the guests smartly. Tug of War, Aerobics, Gymnastics and Karate formationswere some of the highlights of the solar day. Parents and teachers also enjoyed the races organised for them. The Sports day came to an end with theprize distribution ceremony. sapphire House win the shell House Prize for good-natured the maximum medals in card-playing events. Ruby House won the Runners Up Trophy followed by Topaz House in the third place.
