I was natural in an inner city area, where theyre more African American people around. Then coming to my new home, Sheridan Michigan was the complete opposite, from what I would have grown up in, active in Oklahoma City. Sheridan is basically an all white community, and my parents; who were overly white, view process things would be threatening for me increment up. My parents thought my buddy and I would have problems getting picked on, because we were the only African Americans in our school. It was hard growing up in Sheridan at first, except things began to change, and when it did, I wanted to rush a difference, so other people in general did non have to get picked on . When I was around the elementary school age, growing up in Central Montcalms school govern of Fenwick, Sheridan, Stanton, and Sydney, was not the easiest for African American people. At the age my brother Mike and I were at, some of the fellow students did not fully understand what was rude, and not rude. Some of the kids would ask, why dont your mommy let you baths?

It was hard hearing remarks like that all the time but Mike and I got through it. My return thought close to quitting her job, and moving us to a different school, where it would be a better fit for us. She thought just about Grand Rapids, Muske gon, and championship Pleasant for schools ! to go to. In the end Central Montcalm was the school my brother and I stayed in. I was not raised to be a violent kid, but when I was younger, I apply to fight a lot. I love to play sports, so every day I would go play blanket yard football, or basketball with the neighbors.
